These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all courses, classes, camps and workshops ("Programmes") provided by DotCode Campus (UEN 202626670C) ("DotCode Campus", "we", "us"). By enrolling a student and confirming that you agree to these Terms, the parent or guardian ("you") agrees to them on behalf of themselves and the student.
1. Programmes
1.1 Each Programme consists of the number of lessons, duration and format (in person in Singapore or live online) stated on our website or in your enrolment confirmation.
1.2 We may update lesson content, schedules or instructors where needed, provided the overall Programme remains substantially the same.
2. Fees and Payment
2.1 Full course fees are payable upfront at the time of enrolment. A student's place is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
2.2 Payment can be made by card through our payment provider, Stripe, or by PayNow or bank transfer. For card payments, your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
2.3 All fees are stated in Singapore dollars (SGD) unless otherwise indicated.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 You may cancel an enrolment at any time by notifying us in writing via WhatsApp at +65 8912 8594 or by email at admin@dotcodecampus.com.
3.2 On cancellation, a prorated refund will be given for lessons not yet held, less the fees for two (2) lessons. In other words:
- no refund is given for lessons that have already been held, whether or not the student attended;
- no refund is given for the next two (2) scheduled lessons after the date we receive your cancellation notice; and
- all remaining lessons after that are refunded.
If two or fewer lessons remain at the time of cancellation, no refund is given.
3.3 The fee per lesson is the amount actually paid for the Programme (after any discount or promotion) divided by the number of lessons in the Programme.
Example: For an 8-lesson course costing $400 ($50 per lesson), if you cancel after 3 lessons have been held, lessons 1–3 (already held) and lessons 4–5 (the next two lessons) are not refunded. Lessons 6–8 are refunded: 3 × $50 = $150.
3.4 Refunds are made within 14 days of your cancellation notice: to the original card for card payments, or by PayNow or bank transfer for other payments. Processing times may vary depending on your bank.
3.5 If we cancel a lesson, we will offer a replacement lesson at another time. If we cancel an entire Programme, you will receive a full refund for all lessons not yet delivered.
4. Missed Lessons and Make-ups
4.1 If a student will miss a lesson, please notify us via WhatsApp or email at least 24 hours before the lesson. A make-up lesson will then be provided, subject to availability.
4.2 Each student may have up to two (2) make-up lessons per Programme. Make-up lessons must be taken before the Programme ends.
4.3 Lessons missed without at least 24 hours' notice are forfeited and are not eligible for a make-up or refund. Exceptions may be made for illness or emergencies at our discretion.
5. Photos and Videos
5.1 We may take photos and videos of students and their projects during lessons and events, and may use them on our website, social media and other marketing materials, unless you tell us not to.
5.2 You may tell us at any time that you do not want your child's photos or videos used, or ask us to remove a specific photo or video, by contacting us via WhatsApp at +65 8912 8594 or by email at admin@dotcodecampus.com. We will stop using them and remove them from our website and social media channels within a reasonable time. We cannot recall printed materials that have already been distributed.
6. Student Conduct
6.1 Students are expected to be respectful to instructors and other students and to follow instructions, including online safety guidelines.
6.2 We may suspend or remove a student whose behaviour is persistently disruptive or unsafe. Any refund in such a case will be handled under section 3.
7. Online Classes
7.1 For online lessons, you are responsible for providing a suitable device and a stable internet connection.
7.2 Lessons missed due to issues on the student's side are treated as missed lessons under section 4.
8. Student Work
Students retain ownership of the projects, games and code they create. We may showcase student work for educational and marketing purposes, unless you have asked us not to under section 5.2.
9. Safety and Liability
9.1 Students are under our supervision only during scheduled lesson times. Parents and guardians are responsible for students before and after lessons, including travel to and from the venue. Please drop off and pick up students no more than 15 minutes before and after each lesson.
9.2 In a medical emergency, we will contact you immediately and may arrange emergency medical assistance, including transport to a hospital, if we are unable to reach you in time. Any resulting costs are borne by the parent or guardian.
9.3 Damage to our equipment or property caused by a student's deliberate or careless behaviour may be charged to the parent or guardian at repair or replacement cost.
9.4 We take reasonable care to provide a safe learning environment. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in our Programmes.
9.5 Our total liability to you in connection with any Programme is limited to the fees paid for that Programme.
9.6 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of enrolment applies to that enrolment.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
